Luogo dedicato alla catalogazione, tutela e conservazione dell’intera produzione artistica di Alberto Garutti (1948-2023), l’archivio occupa gli spazi nei quali – per più di vent’anni – l’artista italiano ha lavorato e realizzato tutte le sue opere.
Studio Archivio Alberto Garutti interseca attività di ricerca con la produzione di progetti speciali pensati per esplorare i temi centrali e l’eredità critica e radicale di una delle più influenti figure dell’arte italiana degli ultimi cinquant’anni.
Studio Archivio Alberto Garutti è diretto da Francesco Garutti con Barbara Ciardiello, Giacomo Nigro e Roberto Casti – ed è supportato da un Advisory Board composto da Laura Cherubini, Roberto Cuoghi, Eva Fabbris, Hans Ulrich Obrist e Paola Pivi.
Studio Archivio Alberto Garutti is based in Via Grazioli 73, Milan.
Conceived today as a site for cataloging, protection and conservation of Alberto Garutti’s (1948-2023) entire body of work, the studio occupies the spaces where the Italian artist had been working, envisioning and realizing – for more than twenty years – many of his artworks.
Studio Archivio Alberto Garutti intersects research and study activities with the production of special projects designed to explore core issues and the critical and radical legacy of one of the most influential figures on the Italian art scene over the last fifty years.
